The problem

Donations ran through Onpay, a third-party payment service, with no full system behind it. Donors could not see how their money was used, and the marketing and finance teams needed to manage their parts separately, without technical help.

My role and scope

Scoped the solution with the COO, designed the full system, built the Webflow front end that connects to a back end on a dedicated VPS, and trained the staff to run it.

Key decisions
  • Own the checkout

Donations moved off the third-party page onto a checkout on CGM's own site, backed by a dedicated server. That ended the reliance on Onpay and gave CGM the donor records that transparency depends on.

  • Proof, not promises

Donors log in to see their own contributions and reports from the ground, with photos and updates each time the team distributes funds in Gaza.

  • Separate access for marketing and finance

Each department manages its own part of the system, so a campaign page can change without any risk to donation records.

  • Webflow for a team that is not technical

The front end is built in Webflow for a fast launch and so CGM's staff can run it day to day. Training them was part of the delivery.

Outcome

Launched the public campaign site and the donor dashboard, where supporters track their contributions, follow campaign progress and see proof of how donations were distributed. CGM has since redesigned its public site.
